Our philosophy is simple, and it’s based on things we’ve come to know are true: having a music education has been scientifically proven to contribute to success both personally and academically. It teaches us how to communicate, think creatively, and embrace joy.
Music is language, music is science, music is mathematics, music is physical, and music is art.
It is patience and discipline. It is a way of expressing thoughts and emotions and connecting meaningfully with the world.
Staump Music School and its eclectic team of educators are on a mission to provide our community with access to quality, affordable music education tailored to each student’s needs, goals, and talents.
Since Tim Staump opened our doors in 2008, we have become known for our holistic approach to musical education. We build on the foundations and fundamentals, going beyond weekly lessons to provide our students with mentorship and professional experiences seldom offered in a school setting.
Our students learn how to play, write, perform and record, getting hands-on experience with passionate professionals dedicated to sharing the joy and fulfillment that music can bring.
We are known for our student concert productions, our unique faculty, our songwriting programs, and our advocacy for music education in our community. All of our classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art recording equipment, and we have partnered with local studios and venues for larger productions to provide our students and faculty with unparalleled enrichment experiences.
We prioritize customized learning, so whether you are hoping to learn an instrument or looking to gain valuable knowledge and experience in preparation for a career in music, Staump Music School has a program for you. Sign up for your free month today!
